About Me

I'm Nabila — the person behind The Alamist.

People sometimes assume the finance career and the creative brand are two different chapters of my life. They're not. Long before there was a contract template bundle on Etsy or a line of code for FocusOS, there was a version of me who cared about fashion and design just as much as balance sheets and market strategy. The Alamist isn't a departure from finance — it's finance and creative instinct, built by the same person, on purpose.

Today that shows up as two things running side by side: the financial controlling and international marketing work that pays the bills and sharpens the strategy, and the products, campaigns, and apps I build because I can't not build them. Neither one is the "real" me. Both are.

I'm curious by nature, and that spills into everything outside of work. I'll book a trip somewhere new, then spend the weekend behind a camera, picking fabric at a wholesale market with the design already in my head and handing it to a tailor to bring to life, or restyling a room until the light falls right. I read geopolitics and philosophy for fun, get just as lost in mathematics or astronomy, and once jumped out of a plane simply to know what it felt like. Cooking, meeting new people, wandering a good exhibition, or losing an evening to a film — it's all the same appetite for something new. What I'm into shifts year to year, and I've stopped expecting it not to. The Alamist works the same way: built by someone who's still figuring out what she's curious about next.
